I was fortunate enough to meet Mr. Tartakovsky at a workshop he was holding the morning after he gave a lecture at RISD a couple years ago; he is not only inspiring and super hard working, but he was also just a really nice person and very insightful.. also he signed my sketchbook and totally fulfilled my geek needs for that year.
